Terms of Service

Last updated May 28, 2026

Agreement

By installing or using the Guth app (“Guth,” “Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use Guth. Guth is published by Antonio Manuel Moniz (“Company,” “we,” “us”). Contact: hello@getguth.com.

Eligibility

You must be 17 or older to use Guth. If you are under 17, do not install or use Guth.

What Guth is

AI disclaimer

Guth and the specialists are AI-generated personas. Their replies are not professional advice.

You should not rely on Guth for decisions with material consequences without consulting a licensed professional.

Safety routing

Some conversations may trigger safety routing — for example, a specialist may respond with a crisis hotline number (988 in the US) and pause the conversation. This is intentional. We do not screen your messages for content beyond this safety routing.

Your conduct

You agree not to:

Family Controls

Guth uses Apple’s Family Controls framework to enforce Screen Time limits on your own device. You authorize this voluntarily and may revoke it at any time via iOS Settings → Screen Time. We do not manage anyone else’s device. Guth is for individual use, not parental supervision of another person.

Subscriptions and purchases

Intellectual property

Third-party services

Guth’s cloud AI features depend on OpenAI and Supabase. Their terms apply to that processing. We are not liable for outages, errors, or content moderation actions by these services.

Disclaimer of warranties

Guth is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that Guth will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that AI responses will be accurate or appropriate, or that Guth will achieve any specific outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Guth is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or $50, whichever is less. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Dispute resolution

Disputes will be resolved by binding individual arbitration. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action. You may opt out of this arbitration provision by emailing hello@getguth.com within 30 days of first installing the app, with the subject “Arbitration Opt-Out.”

Termination

We may terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using Guth at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the Company is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
