Terms of Service
The plain-language agreement for using GetGuth. By using the product, you agree to what is here.
Last updated
GetGuth is a product of Guth Labs LLC. These terms cover the current no-login Social editor and its optional connected-publishing tools. We wrote them to be readable, not to bury anything.
What GetGuth provides
The core editor lets you draft, edit, and preview social posts locally in your browser. If you choose to connect Meta, GetGuth can read the Facebook Page and linked professional Instagram account you authorize. It can publish only after you complete the separate final review and publish action.
We are always improving the product, so features may be added, changed, or removed over time.
No account or billing right now
No email-and-password GetGuth account or login is required for this release. The editor creates a private anonymous browser session to keep connected-provider records separate. There is no paid plan, trial, subscription, or checkout in the public editor.
Acceptable use
Use GetGuth for honest business. Please do not:
- Break the law, or use GetGuth to do something illegal.
- Post or publish content you do not have the right to use.
- Upload malware or content that is hateful, harassing, fraudulent, deceptive, or intended to harm others.
- Try to break, overload, or get around the way the product is meant to work.
- Break the rules of the social platforms you connect, including Facebook or Instagram.
We may limit access when the product is abused or its security is threatened.
Your content is yours
The text, photos, and other content you put into GetGuth stay yours. You are responsible for having the right to use that material and for anything you choose to publish through or outside the editor.
We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for the current release's exact handling.
Connected accounts
Connected accounts are optional. Meta shows the requested permissions before you approve them. Connecting, drafting, previewing, or saving does not publish; an immediate provider post requires the separate final-review consent and publish action in Social. You can disconnect the provider from Social or revoke access through the provider.
The product as it is
We work hard to make GetGuth useful and reliable, but we provide it as it is. We do not promise it will be perfect, always available, or fit for every situation. Things like your search ranking, the reach of your posts, or how customers respond depend on many things outside our control, so we cannot guarantee a particular result.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Guth Labs LLC is not responsible for indirect or unexpected losses that come from using, or not being able to use, the product, such as lost profits, lost data, or lost business. Our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us for the product in the period the issue arose. Some places do not allow these limits, in which case the parts that apply to you are limited as much as the law allows.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using GetGuth at any time. There is no email-and-password GetGuth account to close in this release. You can remove local drafts in the editor, disconnect connected providers, clear the site's data in your browser, or send a deletion or privacy request to hello@getguth.com.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product grows. When we do, we will update this page. If a change is significant, we will let you know. Continuing to use GetGuth after a change means you accept the updated terms.
