The plain-language agreement for using Guth. By using the product, you agree to what is here.

Guth is a product of Guth Labs LLC. These terms cover what we give you, what we ask of you, and how billing works. We wrote it to be readable, not to bury anything.

What Guth provides

Guth helps you post to social media. It drafts captions, schedules posts, and publishes them to the social accounts you connect, like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. It also reads back basic performance from the accounts that allow it. You can ask Guth to do things in plain language and it does the work.

Some platforms limit what can be posted automatically. Where a platform only allows a draft or a private upload, Guth gets your post as far as it can and tells you the step you need to finish in that app.

We are always improving the product, so features may be added, changed, or removed over time.

Your account

You need an account to use the paid parts of Guth. Keep your login details safe and let us know if you think someone else has gotten into your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Acceptable use

Use Guth for honest business. Please do not:

• Break the law, or use Guth to do something illegal.
• Post or publish content you do not have the right to use.
• Upload anything harmful, hateful, deceptive, or that you would not want connected to your own name.
• Try to break, overload, or get around the way the product is meant to work.
• Break the rules of the social platforms you connect, like Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok.

If an account is used in these ways, we may pause or close it.

Your content is yours

The text, photos, and other content you put into Guth stay yours. You give us permission to use them only as needed to run the product for you, like showing them on your site or publishing them to your connected accounts.

You are responsible for the content you publish through Guth. Make sure you have the right to use it, that it is accurate, and that it follows the rules of any platform it goes to. Guth helps you create and send it, but the content is yours.

Billing

• Free to start. You can create an account, build your week, and post once with no card. When you're ready there is one paid plan — $9/mo; you are charged when you lock in and go live.
• No long-term contract. Guth is month to month. You are not locked in.
• Cancel anytime. You can cancel whenever you want, and you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for.

When billing is turned on, your subscription renews each month until you cancel. We will be clear about the price before you are charged.

Connected accounts

When you connect a social account, you let Guth post and read performance on your behalf. You can disconnect any account at any time, from inside Guth or from the platform itself.

The product as it is

We work hard to make Guth useful and reliable, but we provide it as it is. We do not promise it will be perfect, always available, or fit for every situation. Things like your search ranking, the reach of your posts, or how customers respond depend on many things outside our control, so we cannot guarantee a particular result.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Guth Labs LLC is not responsible for indirect or unexpected losses that come from using, or not being able to use, the product, such as lost profits, lost data, or lost business. Our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us for the product in the period the issue arose. Some places do not allow these limits, in which case the parts that apply to you are limited as much as the law allows.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Guth and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that we need to in order to protect the product or other people. If your account ends, you can ask us for a copy of your data first by emailing hello@getguth.com.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product grows. When we do, we will update this page. If a change is significant, we will let you know. Continuing to use Guth after a change means you accept the updated terms.
